In order to have proper growth or to keep children healthy, they need to be given all types of proper and healthy diet. At the same time the food given to them should be digested easily. Let’s see the healthy breakfast item recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of Bambino vermicelli
  • Water as per required
  • 1 cup of sliced potato and carrot
  • 1 teaspoon of ground nut or almond powder
  • 1 teaspoon of ghee
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 green chili

Procedure:

  • Heat some ghee in a pan and add some mustard seeds.
  • If needed have one green chili without cutting it.
  • Add potatoes, carrots and one teaspoon of almond or ground nut powder to it.
  • Stir it well.
  • Add some water to it and some salt to taste.
  • Add the vermicelli to the boiling water and remove the chili from the mixture.
  • If you are interested in making this mixture sweet then add cardamom powder instead of potatoes.
  • Finally add sugar, honey, date syrup which makes it delicious for children.

NOTE:

During morning hours, if chillies are used as ingredient in preparing the breakfast then it may lead to acidity problems. So, it is better to avoid them.

  • One small cup of fruit pieces (banana, apple depending upon season)

The recipe for preparing tasty and healthy Apple Salad is as follows.

Ingredients to be used are:

  • 1 cup of apple pieces
  • 2 table spoon of pomegranate seeds
  • 1/2 cup of banana

For garnishing:

  • 2 teaspoons of fresh cream

  • 1 onion
  • 1 teaspoon green gram

  • Clean the carrots, remove the peel of onion and then cut carrots and onions into large pieces.
  • Add the green gram to it.

A healthy food item-Dried Fruit Spread

Ingredients:

  • 175g of dried dates
  • 75g of dried fig fruits
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg powder
  • 2 teaspoons of dry grapes
  • 150ml of orange juice

Procedure:

  • Take all the ingredients except orange juice into a sauce pan, add some water and boil them for twenty minutes.
  • Add the orange juice and close the lid.
  • Mash the fruits with the help of a fork and off the stove.
  • Cool this mixture and take into a bowl.
  • Now dried fruit spread is ready to eat.

Ingredients to prepare Vegetable Rolls include,

  • 1 small tomato

  • 1 teaspoon of finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 small boiled potato

Preparation steps include,

  • Mash the boiled potato.

  • Instead of black pepper, chat masala or garam masala powder can be used.
  • This mixture is made into rolls with the help of aluminum foil or cloth and kept in the refrigerator for overall night.
  • In the morning, remove the foil and add the bread powder.
  • Fry the mixture in a pan.
  • This can be served as cutlet or bread sandwich.
  • When eating as cutlet, make use of butter milk or curd so that it prevents acidity.
  • Garnish it with tomatoes.
