Healthy Carrot Soup

The ingredients which are required for preparing carrot soup includes the following.

  • 400g of carrot
  • 1 onion
  • 1 teaspoon green gram
  • 1 cup of milk without fat
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper

Preparation steps are,

  • Clean the carrots, remove the peel of onion and then cut carrots and onions into large pieces.
  • Add the green gram to it.
  • Boil this mixture in the pressure cooker.
  • After boiling, blend the mixture into a food processor.
  • Now take it in a bowl and add hot milk into this mixture and stir it well.
  • Finally, add black pepper, salt to taste and again boil for one minute.
  • This soup can be served hot by garnishing with coriander leaves.
