Healthy Sprouts Soup

The ingredients required to prepare sprouts soup are as follows:

  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1 tablespoon grated carrot
  • 1 tablespoon finely shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup boiled and grated potato
  • 1 grated onion
  • 1/2 tablespoon crushed garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoons corn flour
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon green chili sauce

Follow the below steps to prepare sprouts soup:

  • Boil the sprouts in water for 10 minutes. Then drain the water and keep water and sprouts aside separately.
  • Take 1/4 cup of water and mix corn flour in it.
  • Take a pan containing oil and heat it. Add grated onion and garlic paste to it and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Now add cabbage, grated carrot, boiled sprouts and grated potato to it and stir well for about 3 minutes.
  • Add the water which was kept aside before, in which sprouts are boiled.
  • Boil it for 5-6 minutes.
  • Now add corn flour paste, salt, green chili sauce and sugar to it and stir well for sometime.
  • Cook it for 2-3 minutes.
  • Hot tasty sprouts soup is now ready to serve. It can be served along with bread toasts as it tastes great.
