Yummy Potato-Corn Balls
Potato-Corn Balls prepared using corn as the primary ingredient is a delicious snack item which will be liked by almost all the children. Children enjoy eating this yummy, spicy and delicious snack. The ingredients that are required to prepare this potato-corn snack include the following.
- 1 1/2 cup boiled corn
- 5 boiled potatoes
- 1 cup finely chopped paneer
- 4 tablespoons grated cheese
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 1 cup maida
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs
- 5 green chilies
- 3 tablespoons coriander
- 2 tablespoons chili sauce
- Oil for deep fry
- Salt
Preparation steps to cook potato-corn balls include the following:
- Take a pan and melt the butter in it.
- For about 1 minute, seethe the flour in the butter.
- Add milk to it and stir well. Cook until the mixture becomes thick.
- Add corn, finely chopped potatoes, cheese, chopped paneer, green chilies and coriander to the above thick mixture and mix well.
- Now add salt to it.
- Make small balls out of the mixture and keep aside.
- Make the flour paste by thoroughly mixing 1 1/2 cup of water and flour.
- Now dip the small balls which are kept aside in flour paste and roll them in breadcrumbs.
- Fry the balls in oil till they become light brown in color.
- Place the balls on a tissue so that extra oil can be absorbed.
- Serve these potato-corn balls along with tomato sauce which tastes great.
