Two main ways to bake salmon are:
- First method is with the use of foil or greaseproof paper, which is also referred to as “en papillote” by chef. For this the cut out a piece of aluminum foil or greaseproof paper, then brush it with melted butter and place salmon on the foil with some choices of flavors like vegetables, butter or wine. After this seal the foil to maintain the heat and moisture within the pack which will help the fish to stay tender.
- Other method of baking the salmon is to place it in a casserole dish or roasting tray along with vegetables and any liquid like white wine which will keep the fish tender and juicy. This process is appropriate for whole salmon and other types of whole fish like Bass or Salmon Trout.
Among the various flavorings used with Salmon, lemon juice and butter will help in sustaining the original flavor of the salmon. Baking the salmon will benefit in saving the vitamins and minerals within, further is not viable to add lot many salty condiments to Salmon which will take away the natural flavor of food giving it a nasty taste.
