A healthy food item-Dried Fruit Spread

Ingredients:

  • 175g of dried dates
  • 75g of dried fig fruits
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg powder
  • 2 teaspoons of dry grapes
  • 150ml of orange juice

Procedure:

  • Take all the ingredients except orange juice into a sauce pan, add some water and boil them for twenty minutes.
  • Add the orange juice and close the lid.
  • Mash the fruits with the help of a fork and off the stove.
  • Cool this mixture and take into a bowl.
  • Now dried fruit spread is ready to eat.

This can be used for two weeks by storing in refrigerator. If needed add the sliced dry nuts into this mixture. This can be consumed by mixing it with milk or butter milk. Spread it on bread by which it serves as sandwich. This dried fruit spread is very healthy food item as it is prepared using all the dry fruits which provides healthy benefits.
