The main ingredients used to prepare this item are the fresh vegetables such as cauliflower, cabbage, spinach and so on. Fresh vegetables are rich in many vitamins and minerals which are very good to health. Especially the leafy vegetables helps in maintaining  good eye sight. The <span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">recipe</span> for preparing Vegetable Pakodi is as follows.</p>
<div><span style="font-weight: bold;">Ingredients </span>to be used are:
<ul>
<li>1 cup of Bengal gram flour</li>
<li>Oil required for frying</li>
<li>Cumin seeds powder</li>
<li>Salt to taste</li>
<li>1 to 2 chopped green chili</li>
<li>Water as required</li>
<li>1 medium sized potato</li>
<li>1 small cauliflower</li>
<li>100g of cabbage</li>
<li>5 to 6 finely chopped leaves of spinach</li>
<li>100g of onion</li>

<li>Remove the peel of boiled potato, mash it and keep it aside.</li>
<li>Cut the cauliflower, cabbage, spinach and onions into small pieces.</li>
<li>Now blend all these in such a way that they mix equally.</li>
<li>Now add flour, mashed potato, cumin powder, salt, two teaspoons of oil and water and mix it.</li>
<li>Fry the mixture in the oil.</li>
<li>Take out when they get crisp and place it in a tissue paper.</li>
<li>It tastes good with coriander or mint pickles or with the tomato ketch up.</li>
