Mushroom soup
Mushroom soup prepared using mushrooms is a nutritional food as the mushrooms are excellent source of potassium which helps reducing the risk of heart strokes and are rich in antioxidants.
Ingredients:
- 20g of mushroom
- 20ml of milk
- 10g of cashew nut paste
- 5g of oil
- 10g of flour
- 5g of butter
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of white pepper
- 1 teaspoon of chili sauce
- 5g of cream

Procedure:
- Fry the partially mashed mushrooms, milk and cashew nut paste in a pan.
- Add oil, butter and some water.
- Boil this mixture for five minutes.
- After it gets boiled, add salt, sugar, white pepper and chili sauce to the above mixture.
- Again heat it for four to five minutes.
- Finally add the flour and then off the stove.
- Flour is not to be added as it is.
- First mix flour and cool water in a cup and then add it to the mixture.
- Garnish this with cream and then serve the tasty mushroom soup.
Healthy Carrot Soup
The ingredients which are required for preparing carrot soup includes the following.
- 400g of carrot
- 1 onion
- 1 teaspoon green gram
- 1 cup of milk without fat
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper
Preparation steps are,
- Clean the carrots, remove the peel of onion and then cut carrots and onions into large pieces.
- Add the green gram to it.
- Boil this mixture in the pressure cooker.
- After boiling, blend the mixture into a food processor.
- Now take it in a bowl and add hot milk into this mixture and stir it well.
- Finally, add black pepper, salt to taste and again boil for one minute.
- This soup can be served hot by garnishing with coriander leaves.

This soup is an energy giving food item for growing kids. It helps in increasing weight. If above quantity of soup is consumed, it is equal to having lunch.
A Healthy Cauliflower Soup
Ingredients to be used are:
- 2 teaspoons of butter
- 1 onion
- 1 potato
- 4 teaspoons of chopped cauliflower
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 slice of cheese
Procedure:
- Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the finely chopped onions for two minutes.
- Peel the skin of potato, cut them into large pieces and sauté them with onions for four minutes.
- Then add the cauliflower.
- If children like carrot or other vegetables, then they can also be added to it.
- Add some water to it and boil them.
- After boiling blend this mixture in the food processor.
- This mixture is then poured into a sauce pan, little amount of salt is to be added and again cooked.
- Garnish it with cheese and add some milk to it.
- While serving add some soup cubes to it to make it more delicious.

This is the soup which will be liked by almost all the children as evening snack. If this is to be given in the morning then serve chilled. It is good if it is prepared the day before the evening and then taken in the morning. This food item not only helps in increasing the resistance power to prevent diseases but also lessens the wish of taking junk food in children. Instead of using water to boil vegetables, chicken boiled water or the white substance in egg can also be used.

Hot and Tasty Tomato Soup
Ingredients:
- 4 tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon coriander leaves
- 3 cups of water
- Half teaspoon sugar
- 1 carrot
- 1 onion
- Garlic
- Black pepper seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon butter or ghee
- Salt to taste
- Cardamom
- Bread
Procedure:
- Keep the tomatoes, carrot, cardamom, black pepper seeds, garlic and onion pieces in the pressure cooker.
- Add some salt to taste, half teaspoon of sugar and three cups of water to the above tomatoes.
- Boil them up to three whistles of the pressure cooker.
- Grind this boiled mixture in the grinder. Now the soup is ready to serve.
- Heat the butter or ghee in a pan and fry some bread pieces.
- If these bread pieces are added to the soup before serving, bread pieces will be crispy.
- For garnishing purpose just add coriander leaves.
