Ingredients

  • 4 carrots
  • 5 tablespoons sugar
  • 400 ml milk
  • 1/2 tablespoon cardamom powder
  • 3 almonds which are chopped

Procedure

  • First wash the carrots properly.
  • Now grate the washed carrots.
  • Add milk and grated carrots mixture into the pan and cook well for 40 minutes until the milk dries and carrots are cooked well.
  • After 40 minutes, add sugar to it and cook for 5 minutes until the mixture dries up.
  • Add the cardamom powder and stir well.
  • Now off the stove, place the mixture in a bowl and garnish it with almonds.
  • Yummy carrot halwa is now ready to serve.

This halwa can be prepared in not more than 45 minutes and it tastes great. No doubt it attracts the children and they will definitely like this recipe. Ingredients needed are as follows:

  • 8 carrots
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons ghee
  • 10 cashews
  • 1 pinch crushed cardamom
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon raisins
  • 1/2 tablespoon vanilla essence

Procedure to prepare the Carrot Kheer includes the following steps.

  • Add the sugar to the milk and boil the milk till the sugar melts completely.
  • Now boil the chopped carrots in water till the carrot pieces become soft.
  • Then drain the water and make the paste of the cooked carrot pieces by grinding in a grinder.
  • Add the carrot paste to the above boiled milk and stir well. Boil it for 2 minutes and off the stove.
  • Fry the cashews in a pan containing ghee till light brown. Now add raisins and cardamom to it.
  • Add the above mixture to the above milk in which carrot is mixed and stir well.
  • Yummy Indian carrot special sweet-Carrot Kheer is now ready to serve. Serve it by cooling it for sometime. If you wish you can also keep it in fridge for sometime and later serve it chill which also tastes great.

Apple Halwa is prepared using the following ingredients.

  • 2 apples
  • 1/2 tablespoon maida
  • 1/2 cup wheat flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon ghee
  • Cashews for garnishing
  • Almonds for garnishing

  • Take the apples and peel them.
  • Cut them into small pieces.
  • Add the apple pieces to the milk and boil them until it becomes thick.
